In collaboration with Graduate Fashion Foundation, textile innovator MAXXAM® has unveiled the four finalists of its 2026 womenswear design competition, each bringing a fresh, forward-thinking perspective to contemporary fashion.
Now in its second year, the initiative continues to champion emerging talent, challenging students from across the UK and internationally to push the boundaries of design using MAXXAM®’s innovative seamless, four-way stretch textiles.
This year’s finalists, Hisham Ramadan, Amy Brown, Jenna Lad and Madeline Foex, stood out for their ability to combine creativity, technical skill and commercial awareness. From marine-inspired sportswear to versatile, multi-functional collections, each designer reflects the evolving demands of modern consumers while showcasing the versatility of advanced textile innovation.
What sets this competition apart is not just the calibre of talent, but the opportunity it creates. Finalists will now collaborate with UK manufacturing partners to bring their designs to life, culminating in a showcase at Graduate Fashion Week 2026, where the overall winner will be announced live on the Gala runway.
